About Us
Hi, I’m Lynette, the founder of Sharing Kitchens.
When my sister got married, staying connected became a challenge. To bridge the gap, we started a tradition of cooking dinner together every month. When she moved out of state, we adapted by taking our cooking sessions online. From different states to different countries, we continued “sharing kitchens,” no matter where life took us.
As my kids hit the teenage years and started showing more interest in the kitchen, I wanted to create a place where they could find our favorite family recipes and keep the traditions that bring us together—sharing meals, exploring new places, and staying connected. Those moments with my sister and my family inspired Sharing Kitchens.
Over the years, I’ve learned that the best connections happen around a meal, through family traditions, and while exploring new places. Here, you’ll find a blend of recipes, travel adventures, and the simple rituals that make life meaningful. So pull up a chair—I can’t wait to share a slice of my world with you.
