Traveling to Disney World in October for Mickey’s Halloween Party is fantastic.
The firework show is a must see. It is created just for the Halloween party and like all WDW shows – it’s incredible with epic projections lighting up the castle complete with classic Disney fireworks that never fail to amaze.
Instead of princesses, you get to meet the evil queens and there's candy galore at the end and at locations all over the park. It’s so fun to see the characters in their Halloween costumes. Our group went all out as Inside Out 2 characters.
I was Riley and Alan totally owned Embarrassment.
The themed parade is so fun with creepy characters like the Headless horseman or Oogey Bogey. And it’s the perfect time to check out eveyone’s awesome costumes. I loved the hitchhiking ghosts in the top left corner.
Be sure to try the party-exclusive Halloween treats throughout the park.
They even have Halloween merchandise – we ended up with this adorable candy corn backpack.
Of course, no stop to WDW Epcot is complete without a stop in France at the Boulangerie Patisserie. Scroll for more foodie spots we loved.
Mickey’s Halloween Party is definitely a must-do at any of the Disney parks.
Some fun treats / restaurants to try:
1) Oga’s Cantina: We tried out a new place in Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios – Oga’s Cantina. We tried 2 of the non-alcoholic drinks…the Carbon Freeze with popping pearls that floated thanks to dry ice and Blue Bantha milk.
2) Le Cellier: This is a steak restaurant in Canada and was incredible. Make sure to make reservations well in advance.
3) El Patron Restaurant: This is a fun off-property Mexican Restaurant located in Orlando. Delicious food, fun themed atmosphere and a great break from the hustle of the parks.
My last bonus tip:
1) 
R Rent a car from Turo. We have had epic horrible experiences with car rentals at the Orlando Airport. I was told by a local travel agent to only rent from Turo when getting a car from MCO. We did and it was a fantastic experience. The car was pristine and ran perfectly. Pick up and drop off were also incredibly easy. With all rentals – be sure to read reviews carefully before selecting the right car.
